At The Old Sweet Shop Gallery we always try to provide our customers with excellent work. We handle every return inquiry on a case-by-case basis, so if you're just not totally pleased do let us know. The sooner we hear from you, the better chance we'll have at helping you out. It's our goal to make buying art from us a great experience for every collector. All return inquiries should be sent to orders(at)theoldsweetshop(dot)org with the subject line "Return Inquiry:" followed by your web order transaction number e.g. 'Return Inquiry WO-12345'.
Before contacting us, please read the following guidelines:
Inquiries about exchanges or refunds must be made within 14 days from the date your print was delivered. There are no refunds for gift certificate purchases.
Shipping Damage
We pack our prints with extra care, doing our best to ensure that they won't be damaged, and all packages are labeled with special handling instructions. All prints are shipped via Royal Mail 'Recorded Signed For'. In the unfortunate event that a print is damaged, if it's possible, we'll replace your print as soon as we are notified once proof of the damage has been received (you can send in a digital snapshot). As all prints are part of limited editions, we can't replace damaged prints after the edition has sold out. If a print is damaged in shipping and the edition has sold out, we will refund your purchase.
Lost In the Post
While every print is tracked with proof of posting, occasionally prints do go missing. The vast majority of "lost" prints are merely delayed and do turn up within 7 days of shipping. If your tracking info says the print has been delivered and you don't have it, talk to your postman. Usually, the package has just been misplaced. If your print is confirmed as lost by the post office, we'll send you another if the edition has not sold out. Just send your web number to orders(at)theoldsweetshop(dot)org with an explanation of your issue. If the edition has sold out, we will refund your purchase.
Printing Flaws
We make gallery-quality prints and every print is inspected before shipping. Very, very occasionally some flawed prints slip out. We will replace defective prints within two weeks after they are received, so please inspect your prints right after they arrive. If you do spot an error or defect, take a snapshot of the print so that the error is visible. We'll ask you to destroy the original (tear-it up) and send us another photo, then we'll promptly replace your print.
What if I don't like the print once I see it in person?
We're pretty sure that once you have one of our prints in your hands, you'll be happy. But, if for some reason, you aren't thrilled with your purchase, let us know why and we'll do what we can to make the collecting experience a good one for you. Please be sure to retain all of the original packaging and materials that arrived with the print.
