The Portable Landscape came from a longer animation with a soundtrack. I visualize sound by using the waveform to displace the landscape, and give it an almost organic movement.
Most of my work is slightly more narrative based, but it always involves some kind of cycle or repetition. I am interested in making work which is ambiguous so that it provokes the viewers intuitive response.
